They managed to find the exact diamond we required and make the setting in just over two days and we even saw the setting being made. Last January... The big day came when I decided to pop the question to my girlfriend. I just didn't know where to begin.. who to trust... what to do... where to go... what to ask.. etc So I went where all signs pointed to: THE GOLD AND DIAMOND PARK. Walking into this place didn't make life any easier... SO many shops... all looking magnificent with perfect lighting making all the jewelry in them look like things out of a fairy tale... I walked and walked... Not knowing where to go and try my luck... not knowing what I should think about when choosing a place or what criteria made one shop better than the next. All I knew is that the diamond in the ring needed to be a GIA certified diamond because apparently those are the best (according to the ever reliable GOOGLE). As I strolled around the place... tired and ready to give up and leave.. I turned around and saw a shop isolated somewhat in a corner... The shop had one customer inside... which felt less threatening to me and somewhat appealing ... I felt I would get some attention if I walked in...

We were coming to Dubai for 3 days on the way home from Europe in late May 2013 and I was looking to buy a ring for myself. I was reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and noticed that the best place to purchase jewellery in Dubai is The Gold & Diamond Park at First Gulf Bank (Metro Station). The reviews for Passion Jewellers where all very positive and from all over the world. So I decided to visit and have a look for myself. The store is not large but has some beautiful pieces of jewellery and Hemant and his team where very helpful and happy for me to try on a few different rings. They offered us Tea/coffee and water as I looked through there beautiful collect of jewellers and was never pressured to purchase anything. I found 2 rings that I really loved but one was too small. That was no problem for Hemant as he had the ring re-sized and advised that it would be ready the next day. Hemant was so kind to us he had his driver drive us back to our hotel that evening. The next day we came back late in the afternoon and the ring was ready and it was perfect. We came home and every time I where them I always get complimented on how lovely they are and I tell them how great Passion Jewellers is and that when they go to Dubai they should pop in and have a look. Early Nov I went to put the re-sized ring on and noticed that the band had cracked. I email Hemant in Jan to advise that the ring band had cracked. He was more than happy to fix the ring for me and he advised that it was at no charge to me. I have received my ring back and its perfect. I have been raving about Passion Jewellers to every person who asks me where I got my rings from and now I will be raving even more about how wonderful there service is. This is my first time writing a review on Tripadvisor but I just had to write one on these guys. My Fiance and I visited on a trip in December to get my engagement ring. We dealt with Sabrina from the start and we could not have asked for a better service, she was outstanding. I knew the exact design I was looking for and it was not one that they had made before. They listened to exactly what I was looking for and got the designer in to draw some pictures to ensure we were all on the same page. They then made a wax model of the ring for me to try and make changes to before making the real thing. I was blown away by it when I went to collect it. We went to passion jewellers after reading the reviews on here and we were definitely not disappointed! I knew what I had in mind although I could not see anything like it in the displays i described what I was looking for to Herment, they have every possible design under the sun and he made a few phone calls to other shops to find what I was looking for and came up trumps! The ring did not have a stone in yet and I was able to pick my own diamond then go to the factory to see it being put together they also sorted and polished 3 other rings for me! We loved the factory visit it was s000 interesting and I adore my new ring.Passion jewellers were excellent! We went to see Hemant in June 2013 through online recommendations, we found him in the Diamond and Gold park. We were quite specific on what we wanted and although he didn't have the stone right there and then he managed to expedite the stone so we could view it literally overnight. The service was flawless, they are sincere and honest and not pushy at all. My partner finally gave me the ring at Christmas time so they were even considerate enough to hold it for us for almost 6 months! My ring is just perfect, Hemant really looked after us on the price, quality and workmanship so much so I'm placing a new order for another ring to be made for my mother. This review is somewhat bias because I didn't visit any other shop but I had no need when all you need is Passion! We visited Passion Jewellers on Christmas day as we had just got engaged the night before and needed that special ring. We arrived in the early evening and met Hemant, the shops owner who was exceptional. Not only did he have great knowledge about his work, he was also keen to share such detail with us to make our choice that much more informed. After looking at a number of settings and carat sizes we made our choice and negotiated a price. After all formalities were completed Hemant advised that our ring would be ready in 24 hours. We had chosen a diamond not on a ring and so it had to be made up for us. We were taken back to our hotel in one of his cars and then returned the following day to collect the ring, which was stunning! If you are visiting Dubai and want any jewellery do not visit anywhere but Passion. Hemant also advised he can get a good deal on watches too...that's my treat when we come back! I knew my husband would not want to spend much time here, so decided to head straight for Passion jewellers when we arrived, based on the reviews here. As other people have said Sabrina, who is English, was just lovely to deal with. Helpful (they own 7 shops in the park, so it's easy to view a great selection), patient and no pressure to buy whatsoever. Having been to the Gold Souk and finding the negotiation techniques they use somewhat baffling, I really appreciated this. I chose a ring that needed to be remade in platinum and re-sized, which was done within 48 hours. The price they quoted seemed fair and when we asked for a discount, this was given but not by much - maybe 5%. Sabrina told me they are planning on moving to fixed prices soon, and I think this will be welcomed by many people. I revisited by myself as I wanted some earrings too. Sabrina was very patient with me, and again had a very 'hands off sales technique. Both times I bought jewellery, she arranged for a driver to take me back to my hotel, which again I really appreciated as it made me feel safer. I knew I was going to Dubai in November and wanted to get my partner's engagement ring as it is more competitively priced compared to the UK, and after searching on the Internet I found countless positive reviews for Passion Jewellers and thought I would send them an email. I was very particular with what I wanted in a diamond ring and Hemant was very responsive on email & took the time to call me to discuss my requirements. I found him extremely professional and reliable, and he sourced a fantastic diamond from New York which met all of my specifications and had it shipped to Dubai within 2 days. Hemant took the time to sit down with me and discuss designs, making up a wax model of my design overnight and showing me exactly what the finished article would look like. I found Hemant a delight to deal with and the final ring was made in their workshop within 2 days. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Passion Jewellers to anybody visiting Dubai intending to purchase jewellery, this was not a rushed experience but I was able to go from design to finished article within 3 days. After reading some of the reviews I had high hopes that this jewellers would be able to help me out with my requirements. Let me tell you that Sabrina and the team exceeded them 10 fold. When we first arrived at the Gold and Diamond Park we went in search of the Passions Jewellery shop only to find that it was boarded up for renovations, do not worry they are just working from another location, ask the security guy and he will have someone from the team came and get you. I had visited several jewellers back home in Canberra to be told they could not amend my wedding ring without breaking the diamonds. Sabrina was so very patient and understanding when I explained what I wanted (mainly to have the three rings turned into one with a thicker band) and to have a further ring made to complement the current rings. I had left the visit to Passions to the second last day in Dubai and was not expecting them the be able to deliver in time, however Sabrina was understanding and had my ring with a 24 hour turnaround. From the moment we were led to the current shop they are working from we were treated like royalty If you are in the market for jewellery don't bother going to the gold souk a waste of time, only go there if you want to be harassed if you want friendly, patient and helpful staff then Passions is the place to go. We went to Dubai for a holiday and did our research first on trip advisor to establish which was the best jewellers in Dubai. Therefore made an appointment to meet with Hemant and his wife on our first day chose what we wanted and it was made for us and engraved and delivered within less than two days to our hotel. What a service!!! All the staff were helpful, polite and completely professional a totally different to most jewellers in this country. Hemant offers the best prices and top quality jewellery. After reading all the great reviews on this site, we just had to visit Passion jewellers. Couldn't find it to begin with as the shop is being renovated, so they're now in Monillis jewellers. We felt very comfortable here & the service was fantastic, nothing was to much trouble. We have just arrived home after collecting one very special ring from Passion Jewellers. We have honestly been overwhelmed by the service from Hemant and his lovely wife Sabrina! We had trawled around the Gold and Diamond Park for over six months looking for the perfect diamond and trying on various rings in lots of different shops and never in our wildest dreams did we expect to get such a high standard of service as we did in Passion Jewellers ...we don't think we are anymore special than anyone else but we do like to be looked after and advised appropriately and that's exactly what this lovely couple did! They must have been pulling their hair out with our requests but not once did they show any signs of becoming bored answering our never ending question& Nothing was too much trouble for this pair...if I tell you we arrived at the shop at eleven am and left at nine in the evening...it isn't a lie and the time spent was our fault as we were so intent on getting our purchase exactly right! We even had to leave the shop and go for lunch and come back, then leave again for coffee...I wish I had half the patience that they do. If it wasn't for this amazing couple I'm sure we'd still be looking for the perfect ring! Hemant and Sabrina gave us lots of valuable advice that we had tried unsuccessfully to get in a few other shops. They were very honest about what would be best, whilst also respecting our decisons at the same time. I wouldn't like to say how many cups of tea and bottles of water they supplied us with during our time in the shop. Their staff were also very friendly guys, who bent over backwards to meet our demands! We had our ring specially made and were invited to go to the factory the very next day to see the diamond being set into the ring...it was a fantastic experience from start to finish and very special to have such lovely memories to cherish. We went to the Gold & Diamond centre to help save me as I had not bought my wife a Christmas present or birthday present, long story but she's a nightmare to buy for! Anyway after strolling around and not feeling that comfortable with the sales staff, we went into PASSIONS and met Sabrina a very friendly English woman who was a breath of fresh air. She listened to my wife's wants (long list!!) and sent one of the staff out to fetch rings from different shops in the complex as Passions own 6 shops. So the shop may look small but if they don't have what you want ask they will either have it at in another shop or as they also own a couple of jewellery workshops on site they can get it made or you. Sabrina and the staff went out of the way to find the right stones we wanted and got them mad into the rings in a very short timeframe. Sabrina and her husband own PASSIONS and certainly know what they are doing. My wife couldn't decide between two stones so guess what we bought both and are stunning rings that my wife loves. I went to gold and diamond park to buy an engagement ring and a diamond gift for my fiancé and I was extremely lucky to To find Passion jewelers. I was pleasantly met by the owner and his wife who were consistently honest and helpful and spent so much time with me and my friend. I visited passions after reading reviews on trip advisor as we were looking to purchase an engagement ring. Hemnant and his wife were really lovely and we were shown some lovely emerald cuts based on the information we exchanged over email. I was so happy with the choice of diamonds provided as we did visit some other stores and they did not meet the specifications I wanted, as clarity was important not just size. We decided to purchase a beautiful emerald cut and discussed the ring style and for a one carat, D colour and VS1 clarity, we believe we got a great price and the finished product was ready two days later. When I tried it on it was perfect but they reassured me that if I wanted anything changed they would make it a priority. We also got a tour of the factory and we did not feel pressured in the least to buy! Cannot wait to purchase my platinum wedding ring and some emerald drop earrings for my big day! Visiting the gold & diamond park can be overwhelming due to the sheer number of shops to choose from. Our visit was led by the intention to have my engagement and wedding band merged into one ring. My sister had visited Passion a few weeks earlier, buying a lovely emerald ring and it was on her recommendation that my husban and I made a bee line for Passion - despite many expats recommending another outlet under the same roof. On arrival, the owners were very accommodating. I mentioned my sisters vist to the shop a few weeks prior and described the ring she bough; Sabrina knew instantly who she was despite being several weeks earlier that my sister had made the purchase. This kind of personal service and customer recognition is hard to find. After being shown several designs, it wasn't long before I had picked out a style to have my wedding rings restyled into. Sabrina talked both my husband and I through all the different options and priced everything accordingly, so we knew exactly what we were getting for our budget and ensuring costs didn't spiral. I would highly recommend stopping into Passion, whatever your budget and talking to the team. On collection of my ring, we got a short tour of the workshops where all the magic of jewerely craft happens. If ever your in Dubai looking for jewellery, be sure to visit Passion Jewellers in the Gold And Diamond Park. The owner, Hemant, is probably one of the most knowledgeable people I've met when it comes to diamonds and gold. We have been twice each of the last 2 times we've been to Dubai. He had an extensive range in his boutique, and anything he didn't have in his store (Passion Jewellers), he was able to get within 10-15 mins (because he also owns about another 6 diamond boutiques in the Gold And Diamond Park). So even if you don't go to him directly at Passion Jewellers, more than likely you'll still be buying from him. So save yourself the time and go straight to him to get the best deal. The quality of his jewellery is second to none, and if your looking to have something made from scratch, his turnaround is unbelievably quick. He was able to make a diamond engagement ring within 2 days and even offered to have couriered over to our hotel to save us the time. His prices are also fantastic. We had some pieces made and had them checked here in London and were pleasantly surprised to find that the pieces were valued at a higher price than what we paid in Dubai. We travelled to Dubai to pick out the perfect engagement rings and wedding bands. I emailed Hemant a few months earlier as I was looking for a unique type of stone with a general idea of the design and stone I was looking for. He was always quick on his responses and when we finally arrived there was a wonderful selection of stones and settings that I was able to choose from and they were able to create my dream ring within a couple of days. ALL the staff was very patient and accomodating as I sat there for 2-3hrs trying to decide every last detail and what I appreciate most was that I NEVER felt pressured to buy anything or hurry up (except for hubby of course, but he did ok too!) The ring didn't come out right the when I got it initially (a mis¬communication on my part). I think what counts the most and what other stores might not offer is how willing they were to change it so I would be happy with my ring. Didn't argue or want to charge us more, just asked me what changes I wanted and they were happy to do so, they even delivered the rings to our hotel (40 minutes oustide of Dubai). I know Hemant for a very long time now. He is very kind, helpful and will do anything to send you away with a happy face. Recently my fiancé got our engagement ring from him.
